Upcomming projects
It might seem like time has stopped within the Nordonian borders at times, something we are actively working on. These projects are aimed at doing just that, bring more life to the tiny country we call Nordonia.
The Floating island
Most likely the most ambitious project undertaken by the Nordonian government. This project is not just a project, it is THE project. The project is about building a somewhat inhabitable artificial floating island off the coast of Nordonia. The floating island will initially be very small, but will be expanded as time progresses. When finished, it will most likely be a spectacular landmark of Nordonia, as well as a national symbol.

How the floating island will be constructed has already been figured out. What remains now is to find a suitable yet affordable material to allow the island to float and do so for at least a decade or two no matter the weather conditions.

The island will be covered with soil to allow grass and small plants to grow. Hopefully, we might even be able to plant trees on it. In addition, the government headquarters is planned to be constructed on the island.

The picture below shows where the island will be built and it's rough shape and size. Not that the island is likely to be expanded in the future.
New Government Headquarters
The Nordonian Empire currently lacks any kind of government headquarters. For that reason, the Supreme Leader has decided to have one such building constructed. It is still being designed, but construction is planned to start very soon.

The building is still in it's planning stage. A few designs have been considered so far. The building will house the office of the Supreme Leader which can also double as a court or a meeting room when needed. It will be built on the floating island.
